$99.3 million entertainment destination features a spectacular gaming floor and multiple culinary options
September 18, 2023 – On September 29, Gateway Casinos & Entertainment (“Gateway”) will celebrate Cascade Casino Delta’s (Cascades) first year in business. The casino property has had a significant influence in the community, succeeding as a premier destination for gaming, dining and entertainment.
Since opening its doors, Cascades has:
Welcomed over 627,688 guests to the property
Held 122 meetings and events in the conference space
Given away $234,955 in cash and prizes through promotions
Sold 41,766 pints of beer between both Summit Bar and Match Eatery & Public House
More than 142,000 customers served in the Buffet
Cooked up 2,148 slow braised beef dips at Match Eatery & Public House
“Cascades is a full-service casino resort and a getaway for guests looking for an exceptional time – your one stop to stay and play,” said Martyn Kelly, General Manager of Cascades Casino Delta. “It’s a project that we’re proud of. We are in the business of entertainment at Gateway, but we are also very much about giving back to the community that we’re in.”
As part of the grand opening celebrations, employees at Cascades Casino Delta selected The Delta Community Foundation as the official beneficiary of the GatewayGIVES charitable donations program. In honour of the first anniversary, they will donate $1,000 to this great organization.

The property spans 160,000 square feet and features a spectacular gaming floor with 500 slot machines, 18 live table games and 24 electronic table games. It also includes Gateway’s
signature restaurants – The Buffet, Summit Bar and Match Eatery & Public House, which boasts a multi-season patio and the Bud Room. Business travellers can make use of its innovative 5,000 square foot ballroom that converts into three distinct conference spaces.
“Cascades Casino Delta created hundreds of new jobs that supported the growth of our city’s economy and tourism,” said Ian Paton, South Delta MLA. “It’s a state-of-the-art space that has provided our community with many wonderful opportunities.”
In December 2022, the new hotel – part of Delta Hotels by Marriott – brought its seamless travel experience to the resort. A quick 20 minutes from the Vancouver International Airport, the five-storey hotel is comprised of Severine Spa & Wellness, a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor pool and a hot tub.
